The redevelopment of Rabobank Fellenoord in the Netherlands reached an important milestone with the construction of the office building reaching its highest point. This milestone was celebrated during a gathering of all parties involved. The office building of Rabobank Nederland in Eindhoven is undergoing a full metamorphosis. On the current site the high-rise is making room for a new, more sustainable office building that meets the current and future needs of the employees.
The sustainability ambition of the new office building is high with the focus on energy efficiency and the reuse of as many building materials as possible. Furthermore, the aim is to achieve the BREEAM-NL Excellent certificate.
The new office building, comprising some 30,000 m2, will include a wide range of facilities varying from concentration areas to meeting points, and conference rooms to presentation and workshop rooms. In total, 1,500 workplaces for approximately 2,000 employees and 544 parking places will be realised.
Deerns is responsible for the project’s MEP engineering and will ensure that the sustainability and functionality of the building is fully supported through contemporary and well-thought-out MEP concepts. OVG Real Estate was awarded the contract for the development and realisation of the new office building.
The new office building of Rabobank Nederland will be completed at the beginning of 2017.
